Eric Ngan
Artist & Events Coordinator

My list of most important functions for humans is:

One. Being a parent and making babies.
Two. Being imaginative and using your creativity.

All other parts of human existence stem from these jobs, simple as that. You may note that I exclude any 'higher powers' in my short list, but I'll cross that bridge when I build it.

The Arts are so immensely essential to our society that we have unconsciously ranked them up there with clean water and clear air. If they were taken away we would soon become extinct. I am one for whom the creative urge is a foundation for much of what I have achieved in the past and a touchstone for much of what I want to accomplish in the future. The Arts are as much a part of me as my Ventolin-controlled asthma or my passion for a good pork bun.

If the sky fell down, I'd just use it as a blanket. My imagination and creativity allows me that option. I've yet to make a baby.
